Byrd Barr Place Hosts Its 2nd Annual Block Party Celebrating Community and Connection

Seattle, WA – Byrd Barr Place is excited to announce its 2nd Annual Block Party on July 12th, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This event, which is free entry and open to the public, promises an afternoon of fun for the whole family, with plenty of entertainment, food, and Seattle summertime vibes.

The block party will take place on 18th Ave, with the street being closed between 18th and Cherry and 18th and E Columbia St in front of the Byrd Barr Place building. Attendees can look forward to a wide range of family-friendly activities, including:

• Live musical performances featuring Seattle’s own DJ Topspin
• Local vendors showcasing unique products for sale
• Food trucks serving delicious meals
• Face painting, bouncy houses, and a dunk tank featuring our staff!
• Backpack giveaway for school aged children

In addition to the fun and entertainment, the event will feature an exciting announcement about what’s to come for Byrd Barr Place in the second half of 2025. This announcement will highlight our continued commitment to the community and provide a sneak peek at future events and initiatives aimed at continuing our lasting impact.
