Help people move out of poverty

At Byrd Barr Place, we provide structured opportunities for volunteers to contribute to our work in meaningful and gratifying ways. We base our volunteer relationships on shared expectations, are respectful of volunteers’ time and commitments, and enthusiastically acknowledge their contributions.

How to Apply

Please fill out our online volunteer application, once it is submitted and reviewed we will invite you to attend a volunteer orientation to learn about our services, tour our building, and meet our community. We will review volunteer policies and procedures and ask you to sign a confidentiality agreement.
