We all have something to contribute.
Byrd Barr Place’s volunteer program provides rewarding, structured, and supportive opportunities to those who desire to help people move out of poverty. Our volunteer program enables people to connect and contribute in meaningful and gratifying ways. Volunteer relationships are based on shared expectations. We are respectful of volunteers’ time and commitment and acknowledge your contributions.
“For some people volunteering is about giving back, but for Byrd Barr Place volunteers, it is their way of living. Our family really appreciates what they do every week to make services possible.”
Volunteer with Us
At Byrd Barr Place, volunteers can contribute your expertise in a variety of ways, including tax preparation, photography, translation services, case management, and more. We are a United Way of King County Volunteer Impact Program. We value our volunteers’ skills and look forward to hearing ideas on how to provide our clients with the very best service.
